Chandragiri Hills Day Tour

We will pick you up from your hotel in the morning in Kathmandu and make our way to Chandragiri Hill, which is about a 40-minute drive. After arrival at the base station of the Chandragiri Hill cable car, we will purchase tickets and board the cable car for a scenic ride to the hilltop.

You can enjoy the breathtaking views of the Kathmandu Valley and surrounding landscapes during the ascent. After reaching the hilltop, you can explore the Bhaleshwor Mahadev Temple, a significant religious site atop the hill. You can take some time to observe and participate in any ongoing rituals or prayers around the temple.

After roaming around Chandragiri in the morning, you can enjoy a delicious meal at one of the restaurants or food stalls at the hilltop. We recommend you try traditional Nepali cuisines there, or you can opt for international dishes too. After lunch, you can take a leisurely short hike or nature walk in the surrounding forested trails. Make sure to keep an eye out for any wildlife or bird species around the area.

As the day draws to a close, you can take in the stunning sunset views from one of the viewpoints on Chandragiri Hill. Make sure to capture memorable photographs of the Himalayan peaks and the valley bathed in golden hues. Later, we will descend down via the cable car to the base station. From there, we will transfer you back to your hotel in Kathmandu.
