Kathmandu

Today, our representative will pick you up from Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu and transfer you to a deluxe 3-star luxury accommodation. Here, you can relax and overcome your jet lag with some refreshing drinks. You are free to roam around Kathmandu and take in the capital city all you like today. In the evening, we will indulge in wonderful dinner at a fine dining restaurant.

Kathmandu Durbar Square

Today is the Kathmandu Heritage Day Tour of our Nepal Dream Tour, where we will tour notable areas around Kathmandu. We will visit Swayambhunath, a historic stupa situated atop a hill in the center of Kathmandu, to begin our day early. Here, you can enjoy panoramic views of the valley. We will explore the stupa and the shrines that surround it.

We will next proceed to Kathmandu Durbar Square, which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here, we will discover the elaborate architecture and extensive history of the surrounding area by visiting the Hanuman Dhoka Palace, Kumari Ghar (the residence of the Living Goddess), and other historical buildings.

After lunch, we will proceed to explore the Patan Durbar Square, another UNESCO World Heritage Site in the valley. We will visit the ancient palace, Krishna Mandir, and the Patan Museum. Here, you can see the well-preserved Newari art and architecture from the Malla era. Our day tour will conclude with a visit to the revered Hindu temple of Pashupatinath, located on the banks of the Bagmati River, where we will be able to witness religious rites and festivities.

After the day tour, we will transfer you back to your hotel where you can rest and explore Kathmandu on your own too.

After a hearty breakfast today, we will drive to Bhaktapur to explore the Durbar Square there. The ancient city of Bhaktapur is well-known for its rich cultural legacy and beautifully maintained medieval architecture. With its elaborate temples, palaces, and traditional Newari architecture, Bhaktapur provides a window into the Kathmandu Valley’s ancient era.

After that, we will go via Bhaktapur to Nagarkot by car. Situated close to Kathmandu, Nagarkot is a hill station that offers stunning views of the Himalayan Mountain range, which includes Mount Everest. Nagarkot provides a tranquil haven and an ideal diversion from the busy city life with its serene atmosphere, breathtaking sunrises, and peaceful hiking routes. Here, we’ll savor a delicious dinner at the resort’s eatery while taking in expansive views of the neighboring mountains.

Today, we will wake up early to catch the sunrise at Nagarkot, known for its breathtaking views of the Himalayas. You will witness the spectacular sunrise over the snow-capped peaks, including Mt. Everest on clear days. After sunrise, we will have breakfast and begin our drive towards Bandipur. The journey takes approximately 4-5 hours, depending on traffic and road conditions.

Make sure to savor the breathtaking trip through the rural regions of Nepal. On the way here, we’ll also make a stop for lunch at a nearby restaurant. We will arrive in Bandipur late afternoon or early evening, when we will check into a hotel and change. After that, you are welcome to stroll slowly around Bandipur’s quaint streets. The town is renowned for both its breathtaking mountain vistas and its maintained cultural history. We will later enjoy the local food for dinner at a restaurant in the area.

We will wake up early in Bandipur to catch the sunrise over the mountains. For this, we will head to viewpoints in Bandipur, such as the Tundikhel or the Thani Mai Temple. Marvel at the panoramic views of the Himalayan range as the sun rises behind the grand mountains. After breakfast, we will begin our drive to Pokhara, which takes around 2-3 hours.

Don’t forget to take in the breathtaking scenery while you go. Along the way, we’ll make a stop for lunch at a nearby restaurant. When we get to Pokhara, we’ll go to Devis Fall, a fascinating waterfall with a secret passage beneath the earth. We will also travel to Gupteswar Cave, which is close to Devis Fall. There, we will explore the cave, which has an underground waterfall and religious importance.

Additionally, we’ll take a car or a hike to the World Peace Stupa, which is perched on a hill with a view of Pokhara Valley and Phewa Lake. Take in the expansive views and tranquil surroundings as you explore the stupa and its surrounds.

Sarangkot

We will take a drive to Sarangkot early in the morning to catch the beautiful sun rise over the mountains first thing. From here, you will witness the breathtaking sunrise over the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri Mountain ranges, so make sure to take a lot of photos. We will have breakfast at a local eatery in Sarangkot.

If you haven’t booked paragliding in advance, we will book a ticket here. Enjoy a thrilling paragliding session, taking off from Sarangkot and soaring over the Pokhara Valley. You will be able to see stunning aerial views of the Phewa Lake, lush landscapes, and the surrounding mountains.

Later, we will head to Pokhara Lakeside for lunch at one of the many lakeside restaurants. The afternoon is free, so take some time to relax and enjoy the lakeside atmosphere. You can even take a boat ride on Phewa Lake, enjoying the serene surroundings. Later, we will visit the Bindhyabasini Temple, located near the lake. We will also explore the Seti River Gorge, which offers unique views of the river flowing through a narrow chasm.

We will have breakfast in Pokhara early morning and start driving for Pokhara. We will make two or more stop for tea/coffee/lunch and toilet. On arrival in kathmandu, transfer to your own hotel.
