Golden Triangle Tour( Kathmandu, Chitwan & Pokhara)

Our Representative will pick you up from Tribhuwan International Airport (Kathmandu) and transfer you to your hotel. On arrival and after rest and refreshment, we will brief you about the Golden Triangle Tour. Later in the evening, we will take you to dinner with a unique culture show.

Today, we discover the highlights of the beautiful Katmandu valley. This program of sightseeing around Kathmandu is flexible and can be structured according to your preferences. Generally, we start the tour by visiting Pashupatinath, where the most important Hindu temples and burning ghats of Nepal are situated. We follow this by going to Bouddhanath, where we circumambulate the giant stupa, one which carries a lot of significance to the Tibetan and Nepali Buddhist pilgrims. We will also visit the Durbar Squares situated around the valley, and our sightseeing usually ends in Patan, an astonishing center of fine art and culture.

The next stop on your tour package is Chitwan, where lies Nepal’s best known Chitwan National Park, less than 150 kms away from both Pokhara and Kathmandu. Covering an area of 932 sq km, with animals such as the Royal Bengal tiger, freshwater dolphins, one horned Rhino, genetic crocodiles, the Chitwan National Park is truly a serene place to be in. Up on your arrival at a resort in Chitwan, we will take a short lunch break. And at evening, we will take a slow walk to visit the indigenous people of this National Park and indulge ourselves in their native, unspoiled tradition & customs. After dinner, we will visit a cultural program hall to observe the cultural program of the native people.

Today, we will go for a jungle safari in Chitwan. After our breakfast we will drive to the riverbank for a canoe trip – this canoe trip will provide us a chance to see two types of crocodiles, the Gharial and the Mugger basking in the sun. Later, we will do several fun activities like:

• Walks in the tranquility of the National Park
• Visit the Elephant Breeding Centre, where you can see different generation of elephants

After these activities, we will come back to the hotel for lunch. After lunch, we will be going to riverbank to watch elephant baths (If you are interested in taking a bath by sitting on the elephant’s back, you can try). We will also be going on an elephant safari, which will last about 2 hours.

The next stop on your tour is Pokhara, a popular destination for tourists in Central Nepal which is situated between the great Himalayas and the Mahabharata Range. Pokhara is a city where one can enjoy the magnificent view of the grand Annapurna mountains, while sitting in luxury. It is an enchanting city nestled in a tranquil valley, which is also gateway to the world-famous Annapurna Circuit Trail. Once we reach Pokhara from Chitwan, you can visit Lakeside, roam around the city and enjoy the bustling nightlife.

Duration: 3 to 4 Hours

Today, we will be going around Pokhara, sightseeing everything this beautiful city has to offer. Early in the morning, we will drive to Sarangkot to witness the sun rise atop the beautiful Annapurna Range. From Sarangkot, one can enjoy clockwise views of the snowcapped peaks, crystal-clear lakes, streams and gorges, and picturesque villages inhabited by the Gurungs, Magars and other ethnic tribes.

Later in the afternoon, we will visit nearby Tibetan villages, David’s Fall, Mahendra Cave, the famous Seti Gorge and some beautiful temples like Bindhabasini Temple and Pokhara Museum. We will also go for a boat ride on Phewa Lake. In the evening, you are free to roam around Lakeside, listen to live music around Lakeside, and enjoy the nightlife of Pokhara.

Our Golden Triangle Tour is officially over today. We will drive back from Pokhara to Kathmandu and transfer you to your hotel. However, you can still roam around Kathmandu to shop in the evening, and you can spend the night in Thamel, where you can enjoy the vibrant ambiance all around.
