Luxury Annapurna Trek

Kathmandu

Our representative will greet you at the airport, TIA (Kathmandu) where s/he will be carrying a signboard with your name on it. We will then transfer you to your hotel. This package involves five-star accommodation in Kathmandu (Dwarika or Marriott Hotel). Later in the evening, we will have dinner at a deluxe restaurant, where we will taste typical Nepali cuisines, so get ready to experience a lot of flavors.

Pokhara

Today, we will be taking a flight to Pokhara in the morning. This is an exciting flight in its own right, passing over the terraced Himalayan Foothills, with views of the main range to the north, overlooked by the stunning spire of Machhapuchhre, known as the Fishtail Peak. The town of Pokhara is the starting point for treks to the Annapurna region, Mustang, Dhaulagiri and Manaslu.

After reaching Pokhara, we will take a look around town for a while. Then, we will take a drive from Pokhara to Nayapul, a scenic journey around the hills that takes approximately 1.5 hours. From Nayapul, we will begin our trek in the Annapurna region. The trek to Birethani is pleasant, as we will walk in tranquility alongside the Modi River. After reaching Birethani, we will check in at Sanctuary Lodge. The lodge has a comfortable central lounge and dining area, with a reference library too. After a three-course supper around the large dining table, it’s off to bed, lulled to sleep by the rushing waters of the Modi River.

Ghandruk

Our destination today is the beautiful village of Ghandruk. The journey from Birethanti to Ghandruk is captivating, as we will walk through pleasant trails along the Annapurna region. Setting off after breakfast from Birethanti, the trail passes through lush forests, picturesque Gurung villages, and terraced Fields. As we ascend towards Ghandruk, the stunning views of the Annapurna mountains unfold.

After ascending along the trail, we will reach Ghandruk. The traditional Gurung village of Ghandruk welcomes you with warm hospitality, giving you a glimpse into the local Gurung culture. You are free to explore the narrow alleyways and visit ancient monasteries in the village. Don’t forget to enjoy the beautiful views of the mountains as you stay your night enjoying the gentle breeze.

Today, we will spend the day in Ghandruk, where we can enjoy the beautiful Gurung village, renowned for its stone houses, narrow alleys, and vibrant terraced fields. The village provides a fascinating glimpse into the rich cultural heritage of the Gurung community. Make sure to rise early in the morning to see the sun rise above the Annapurna mountains. You can explore the village today, hiking up to the tea fields is a good option too! We will also visit the local museum here to learn about Gurung traditions. If you want to, you can try on Gurung attires too!

Throughout the day, you can enjoy magnificent views of the Annapurna and Machhapuchhre mountains. Relax your bones and immerse yourself in the warm hospitality, savor traditional Gurung cuisine, and experience the unique way of life in this charming village.

Landruk

Today, we shall go to the village facing Ghandruk, known as Landruk. The trek from Ghandruk to Landruk unveils another facet of the Annapurna region’s natural beauty and cultural richness. Walking down from Ghandruk, the trail winds through lush forests, terraced fields, and charming Gurung villages. You can walk this pleasant trail appreciating the glorious mountains atop the hills near you. We will follow the trail, descending down to the Modi River. After crossing a suspension bridge, Landruk is an hour away.

Landruk offers a serene atmosphere, and one can truly be one with nature here. You also have a chance to explore its traditional stone houses and friendly local community. Once we reach Landruk, you can rest for a while in your lodge. Later, you can roam around and immerse yourself in the village’s unique culture, visit ancient temples, and interact with the locals here. You will have delightful memories of the Himalayas thanks to the lovely blend of natural scenery and cultural experiences along today’s trek.

Today, we will walk along a trail similar to yesterday’s from Landruk to reach a village named Majgaun. The trail from Landruk passes through lush forests, terraced fields, and quaint villages just like yesterday. After trekking about 4 hours through this terrain, we will reach Majgaun, a picturesque village in the Annapurna region. The village is surrounded by nature’s tranquility and blessed with panoramic views of the Annapurna range. We will explore the village, interact with locals and experience their way of life. You will also notice the splendors of nature along the path reaching to the village, with cascading waterfalls and serene landscapes all around.

In Majgaun, you are free to explore the surrounding villages. After a long day of exploring this beautiful village, we will take you to your comfortable lodge, where you can try local cuisines, take a hot shower, and interact with the locals there. We will stay the night here in Majgaun.

Our destination for today is Dhampus, another village that offers breathtaking views of the Annapurna mountains. The trail today leads us through subtropical forests full of rhododendrons and magnolia. As you ascend, majestic mountain peaks reveal themselves, offering breathtaking views. Along the way, we will also come to the village of Pothana. As we approach Dhampus, a small village perched on a ridge, we will slowly see the mountains reveal themselves.

You are free to explore the village and interact with the friendly locals here. We will have a quaint lunch here in Damphus at the Basanta Lodge with close up views of the mountains. After lunch, we will drive back to Pokhara via our private vehicle. On arrival, we will drive you to your luxury accommodation, The Fishtail Lodge. The lodge is reached by a boat or raft across an arm of the Phewa Lake.

Today, we will discover what the beautiful city of Pokhara has to offer. Pokhara offers a delightful blend of natural wonders and cultural attractions, so you will start your day with a peaceful boat ride on Phewa Lake, enjoying the reflection of the Annapurna Range on its tranquil waters. You will also visit the stunning Davis Falls, a cascading waterfall that disappears underground.

We will also take you to the fascinating Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave, known for its mysterious rock formations and Ancient Hindu shrines. You will also head to the World Peace Pagoda, a symbol of peace and tranquility, which offers great views of Pokhara and the Himalayas. After a full day of sightseeing, you can spend the evening strolling along the vibrant Lakeside Area, enjoying the local cuisines and vibrant atmosphere here.

Bid farewell to Pokhara and the beautiful mountains today! We will board a short flight from Pokhara to Kathmandu in the morning today. In the flight, make sure to catch a glimpse of the mountains from the sky if you can. After reaching Kathmandu, we will take you to your hotel, where you can rest for a while. Later, we will take you sightseeing in Kathmandu to the Durbar Squares in Kathmandu. The Durbar Squares hold a lot of religious, cultural and historical significance in Nepal, as they used to once be palaces to the rulers of Kathmandu valley. During the sightseeing, we will also try local cuisines around the city.

After the sightseeing is complete, you are free to take a walk around the city, discovering the beauty of Kathmandu yourself. The luxury trip involving Kathmandu, Pokhara and the beautiful Annapurna region is almost over!
