Our Rickshaw Tour will start by exploring the bustling markets of Thamel. Visit shops and stalls selling clothing, handicrafts, souvenirs, and local products. Immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere and experience the unique charm of Thamel’s market scene. Make sure to capture the vibrant scenes of Thamel through your photo lens.

After about an hour of exploration around Thamel’s markets, we will visit significant cultural landmarks in Thamel. Explore places like Kathesimbhu Stupa, Narsingh Chowk, or other nearby temples and monasteries. Your accompanying guide will inform you about their history, architecture, and cultural importance of the landmarks. Document the bustling streets, colorful markets, and unique architectural details. Take memorable shots to cherish the memories of your rickshaw tour.

After exploring the bustling streets of Thamel, we will take a break and relax at the Garden of Dreams. Enjoy the serene atmosphere, stroll through the lovely gardens, and take in the architectural details of this serene haven. After this short break, you can go for a “food hunt” around Thamel. Try unique and delicious street food or indulge in local Nepali cuisine around Thamel. Your rickshaw driver can recommend a local eatery or street food stall where you can sample delicious momos (dumplings), chatpate (spicy street snacks), or traditional Newari cuisine.

After a short break, you can explore the shops and markets of Thamel for some shopping. Browse through a range of crafts, attire, jewelry, and mementos. Spend some time looking for interesting things to bring home as gifts or souvenirs. If there are any ongoing cultural performances or shows in Thamel, we will take you to one to experience traditional music and dance.  You can also check with your rickshaw driver for any recommendations or upcoming events.
