Trip Itinerary

Day 1: 7 AM :
Pickup from Airport - Tour to Kyangjin

At around 7 AM, we will pick you up from the airport. Our representative will meet you at the terminal. Your Langtang Helicopter Tour will begin shortly, as we will go to the domestic terminal by 7:30 AM to go on a helicopter tour to Kyangjin.

Day 1: 8:30 AM :
Explore Langtang - Fly back to Kathmandu

Kyanjing Langtang

At around 8;30 am approximately, we will be landing at Kyanjing. From here, you can explore the Langtang region in all its glory. You will be able to see a panoramic view of the Langtang mountains from here. We will explore this region for about 30 minutes and get back to Kathmandu.

Day 1: 10 AM :
Heritage Sightseeing around Kathmandu

Kathmandu Durbar Square

From 10 AM, we will explore the UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Kathmandu, including ancient temples like Pashupatinath and Buddhist stupas like Bouddhanath. You will be able to immerse yourself in the rich cultural heritage of Nepal, visit traditional markets, and even indulge in authentic Nepali cuisine if you want to. The heritage sightseeing will involve Durbar Squares, Bouddhanath and Pashupatinath.

What is the passenger's weight limit?

The helicopter ‘s passenger capacity during the helicopter tour is around 500kg.

How high can we fly the helicopter around Langtang?

Several factors limit the ability to fly the helicopter around Langtang, such as sub-freezing temperatures, hurricane-force winds, and air pressure. Besides, the air is too thin at such a high altitude, so that most helicopters couldn’t generate enough lift to remain airborne. So, during the Langtang helicopter flight, we will fly around 4,500 meters to 5,000 meters high. But please note that the flying height of the helicopter will depend on engine ability too.
